It Will Change Your Life!
Missions in Jamaica are nothing short of a miracle for both the children and those who minister to them during Vacation Bible School.
This year, KUMC has been invited to participate in a new and exciting way. We will arrive on Sunday, July 29 and provide several days of VBS programs at Reverend Buchanan’s new circuit and then make our way to the Port Antonio Methodist Circuit. We expect to help them with VBS, feeding the homeless, and their Saturday children’s ministry. Following worship on Sunday, we will wait to see what invitation the Lord presents. After this incredible ministry journey, KUMC team members will return home on Monday, August 6. Is God inviting you to join Team Jamaica 2012? Please join me and pray for those to hear His call. Don’t wait to respond.

This is the Reverend Billy Graham's great legacy to us. He writes,
"If we are to live a life of sanity in our modern world, if we wish to be men and women who can live victoriously we need (the) two-sided gift God has offered us: first, the work of the Son of God for us; second, the work of the Spirit of God in us."

Wednesday Night Dinners
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm in the Church Social Hall
Dinner is served, at 5:30 PM, starting with a bowl of home-made soup. Chef Rob, with the help of the dedicated and talented Kitchen Ministry team, prepares the soup, from scratch, every week to complement the main course.
The soup course is followed by a trip to the freshly-prepared salad bar where one can create your own salad from a large variety of fresh lettuce and vegetables to be topped with a choice of dressings.
The main course always includes a home-style meal. Using lean beef, succulent pork, juicy chicken or fresh fish, combined with potatoes, rice or pasta and a variety of green vegetables, Chef Rob and the Kitchen Ministry Team do their best to give both friends and guests a welcome break from the fast-food routine. Don’t forget to leave room for dessert!
Dinner is served at a cost of $6.00 for adults. Soup and salad is only $4.00.
Dinner for children (under 10) is only $3.00.

Sermon On CD Ministry
On Sundays, you have the opportunity to listen to the morning's sermon on CD. Please visit the Information Cart under the tent to request your CD or you can pick up one from the Church Office during the week. CD's are available for a donation of $2.00.

Migrant Ministry
We will be collecting food for the Migrant Pantry throughout the entire year. Canned goods, beans, rice, any non-perishable food item, etc. will be continuously collected and distributed to migrant families in South Miami-Dade.
A Collection Box is placed in the Church Lobby for your convenience. Thank you for your contribution to this ministry!
