Vacation Bible School
June 9 to 13 from 9 am to 12 noon
Ages 3 through entering 5th Graders
Children must be both 3 years old and fully potty-trained

Get ready to feel the surf and catch the wave of God's love at Beach Party 'Surfin through the Scriptures'. With each session, our surfers will meet at the Surf's Up assembly and from there visit different activity centers around our 'BEACH'. They will experience a Bible story, music, craft, recreation, snack and more. Beach Party will bring your children into a closer relationship with God, allow them to experience the love of Jesus as their friend and savior, and inspire them toshare their beliefs with others. Surf's up!!!
Registration forms are available in the Church Lobby and Office. Please make every effort to register early as possible as classes do fill quickly and may be limited in size.

Classes
Confirmation provides the opportunity for young people to profess the faith into which they were baptized. Confirmation classes for 6th graders and older will be starting March 12 and will run for 8 weeks ending on April 30. We will meet on Wednesdays from 7 pm to 8 pm in the Youth Lounge. If you would like to eat and fellowship with others before the class begins, pizza will be served at a cost of $3.00 from 6 pm to 7 pm.
This is an 8-week course with a focus on the basics of the faith as well as spiritual formation. During the preparation for confirmation, it is our prayer that the Confirmands explore the faith as well as experience it. On Sunday, May 4, we will celebrate with the Confirmands at both worship services with a reception between services. Register your youth with Perian Field or leave her a message at 667-0343, ext. 17.

Vacation Bible School Mission Trip
to Port Antonio, Jamaica
It Will Change Your Life!

It was nothing short of a miracle for both the children and those who ministered to them during last year’s VBS mission trip to Jamaica. Plans are now underway to gather a team of willing servants of Christ to share in a VBS experience during the week of July 26-August 2. The team from Kendall UMC will travel to Jamaica and work with and assist our brothers and sisters in the Port Antonio area. Pray about it. Become part of it. It will change your life! Application forms are available in the church office. Check out the qualifications and responsibilities. We are asking each person going on the mission trip to pay the $200 application fee, give a week of their time and additional time in preparation for the trip. As we did last year, we, as a church community, are being asked to underwrite the rest of the mission trip. You will be hearing more about how you can help in the near future. Don’t wait! The team size is limited.
